FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS  (FAQ)

Q: What are the advantages to ECF (electronic claim filing)?
A: Your claims are filed with insurance companies within 24 hours. They have passed
an edit which would catch any errors. Should an error occur, we are able to correct it
immediately and submit a clean claim. On paper, your claim could deny for several
ambiguous reasons.  Sometimes that paper claim would get no response. ECF
removes all the roadblocks to you getting paid in a timely manner with minimal effort
on the part of the provider. 

Q: What if I don't want to change my billing address?
A: We have tried to work with clients who did not change their billing address. Getting
the information to process remits was not simple. The client did not receive the benefits
of our services.

Q: How will checks be deposited to my bank account?
A: With the ability to deposit directly to you bank via a local branch or internet access;
we will deposit checks and send a confirmation to you within 24 hours of receipt.

Q: What is enrollment and why is it necessary?
A: Medicare, Medicaid and BCBS require providers to enroll in their EDI programs. All of
your information is on file along with ours as your claims submitter.

Q: How long will it take to get my claims filed?
A:  We will have your claims submitted within 24 hours of receipt.

Q: Do I have to sign a contract?
A: Our service agreement is available upon request. We like to see a provider commit
to a one year term upon entering the agreement. This will give you the opportunity to
compare your cash flow, accounts receivable, and claims statistics. Our agreement
may be terminated with a one month notice. This period give us time to complete the
processing of pending claims.

Q: What are the up front fees?
A: We do not charge any set up fees. We supply all contracts and forms required to
Begin ECF with Medicare, Medicaid and BCBS. Your first month of billing service fees
will be estimated and kept on deposit to apply at the end of that first month. We will
continue to invoice you in advance for three months. After that, we will invoice you
at the end of the month if you prefer.
